The Captains Buddy Gets Weird
I guess I should just go ahead and declare it Mort Week here on Captains Quarters. On #2ForTuesday I highlighted @MortBurke as Parker the mild mannered intern on The Mindy Project. The very next nite, unbeknownst to me, Mort Burke came lording back on Wednesday’s episode of Workaholics. Here’s the TelAmeriCorp crew trying to kiss his ass last nite.

Mort plays Patrick Fartman, an old college buddy of Blake, Adam and Ders. Patrick is a high roller now thanks to his self tanning cream empire.1 The guys want a piece of his action, so they try and befriend him with their great ideas. It doesn’t go too well for anyone involved.
The episode gives Mort a chance to play a quintessential tool. He spends the whole episode covered in self tanner and club wear. Mort also introduces the gang to cocaine
brags about banging multiple Thai hookers, and eventually burns an American flag and gets covered in urine.
Holy shit man! Mort went from docile intern to megadouchelord in the span of one day. If he keeps this up, I’m fully expecting him to burn down Ben and Leslie’s wedding on Parks and Recreation tonite!
